Job summary

Xcellink Group is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join an IT infrastructure Support Team that manages mission critical biometrics devices at locations of significant national interest. You will be trained to troubleshoot and maintain operational availability and remedy faults to prevent down-time.

You will provide 1st level on-site IT support on a 24x7 rotating shift (10:00–22:00 or 22:00–10:00), assist project teams with PC/OS/configuration, and report findings to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Certification or education in IT related field preferred.
• Willingness to work on rotations and be on-site for shifts.
• Experience in IT operational environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st level on-site IT support to end-users on 24x7 rotational shifts.
• Assist project teams with installation, configuration and maintenance of PCs/OS and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain device availability and performance.
• Report findings and status updates to Project Manager on escalated issues.
• Perform health checks and inventory on systems.
• Support Windows clients and related applications.
