Job summary

Sinch is seeking an Incident & Operations Engineer I for our Kalmar, Sweden site. You will manage incident lifecycle, troubleshoot across software and network layers, and coordinate with internal teams and partner networks to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, strong English communication, and the ability to work in a demanding 24/7 shift rotation onsite at our Kalmar office. Knowledge of UNIX/Linux, TCP/IP, and SQL is advantageous.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent).
• Strong English written and verbal communication; ability to explain issues clearly.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a methodical mindset.
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a high-pressure, 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as Incident Manager for core services, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Monitor alerts and escalate incidents as needed to minimize downtime.
• Document incidents and actions taken for future process improvements.
• Drive ongoing system optimization using insights from resolved incidents.
