Job Overview:
Weatherford is seeking a highly experienced and certified SR HAZMAT ADVISOR to lead the implementation, oversight, and continuous improvement of hazardous materials safety programs across the Geozone. This includes managing the safe use, handling, storage, and transportation of radioactive materials, primary lithium batteries, while ensuring strict compliance with Weatherford’s global HazMat strategy, local regulations, and customer requirements.
The role involves strategic coordination with business units, training and guiding country-level HazMat personnel, engaging with regulatory authorities, and driving compliance and operational excellence across multiple countries. This position is vital to ensuring health, safety, environmental protection, and regulatory compliance within Weatherford operations.
