Job description

Within our Crisis and Security Consulting team, our Built Environment Consulting, and Security Design Engineers are required to deliver early-stage risk-based security strategies and planning which inform the wider concept master planning stages. This informs the work delivered in latter coordinated design and technical design stages.

The successful applicant will be a part of our Kenya hub team, supporting clients in KSA and across region as part of our broader EMEA team of over 100 crisis and security consultants.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking fee earning consultancy, including but not limited to the assessment of risk, working with project stakeholders to define security strategies and high-level planning, concept and detailed master planning. Concept and detailed technical design including the development of performance specifications and design guidance notes.
  • Assisting, and designing for our engagements, including technical security reviews, audits, design surveys, installation inspections and approvals, working at client sites and in the office.
  • Designing physical and electronic security systems to an appropriate level, working in conjunction with specialist engineers from other organisations within project design teams.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to ensure requests from clients and prospects are dealt with effectively.
  • Operational responsibility for and collaborative input into performance management of team members.
  • Supporting the adoption of innovative approaches to development of current practices and new solutions.
  • Supporting the development of client proposals and the building of project budgets to define scope and determine pricing prior to sign-off by designated managers.
