Job summary

L’Oréal is seeking an operations professional to oversee daily warehouse activities in Jeddah or Riyadh, coordinating with 3PL partners and reporting to the Logistics Manager.

You will align inventory with SAP, drive on-time deliveries, conduct stock reconciliations, and uphold safety, FEFO/FIFO, and Lean improvements across 3PL sites as part of our Industry 4.0 transformation.

This role requires strong vendor and data-analysis skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating 3PL WMS with ERP systems (SAP MM/WM).
• Proven track record overseeing 3PL operations and managing external logistics partners.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and data reconciliation.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Steer daily 3PL partner performance against operational SLAs, monitoring inbound receiving, order picking accuracy, and vehicle dispatch windows.
• Coordinate with transport teams to prioritise outbound customer deliveries and remove bottlenecks in invoicing and POD archiving.
• Perform daily stock reconciliations between 3PL WMS and SAP, investigate variances and clear IDoc interface errors.
• Oversee cycle counts and annual wall-to-wall physical inventory, ensuring stock adjustments are reflected across systems.
• Uphold safety, FEFO/FIFO rotation, and Group quality standards across 3PL facilities, embedding continuous improvement to reduce lead times.

A Day in the Life

Based in Jeddah or Riyadh, you oversee daily warehouse operations managed by our third-party logistics (3PL) partners, reporting to the Logistics Manager. You act as the operational link synchronising physical inventory, transport, and dispatch flows across our supply chain network of 158 Fulfillment Centers undergoing Industry 4.0 transformation.

• Steer daily 3PL partner performance against operational SLAs, monitoring inbound receiving, order picking accuracy, and vehicle dispatch windows.


• Coordinate with transport teams to prioritise outbound customer deliveries, removing administrative bottlenecks across invoice printing and Proof of Delivery (POD) archiving.


• Perform daily stock reconciliations between 3PL Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP, investigating variances and clearing IDoc interface errors.


• Oversee cycle counts and annual wall-to-wall physical inventory, ensuring stock adjustments are verified and reflected across both systems.


• Uphold rigorous safety, FEFO/FIFO rotation, and Group quality standards across 3PL facilities, embedding continuous improvement to eliminate lead-time waste.

We Are Looking For

You bring operational precision, vendor management know-how, and a mindset geared towards continuous improvement. You bring:

• Inventory Management: Practical expertise in cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and synchronising 3PL WMS with enterprise ERP systems (SAP MM/WM).


• Vendor & SLA Management: Demonstrated background overseeing 3PL operations, holding external logistics partners accountable to delivery and dispatch schedules.


• Data Analysis & Systems Literacy: High competency in Excel (pivot tables, data reconciliation) and ERP transaction oversight to troubleshoot stock discrepancies.


• Continuous Improvement (Lean/5S): Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles to streamline warehouse interfaces, reduce turnaround times, and uphold safety standards.


• Cross-functional Collaboration: Strong communication skills to manage external transport providers, internal logistics stakeholders, and customer care teams under daily operational deadlines.
