Job summary

Chalhoub Group is seeking an Allocator to ensure the optimal distribution of inventory for retail, e-commerce, and B2B accounts. The role emphasizes planning, replenishment, and monitoring KPIs to sustain seamless supply chain operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in supply planning or allocation, preferably within retail, fashion, or FMCG industries.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.”

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the initial allocation strategy for seasonal products across stores, ensuring alignment with assortment and demand plans.
• Build and maintain inventory and replenishment plans, considering store space, delivery frequency, and stock requirements.
• Adjust stock parameters, safety stock, and days of coverage to avoid overstock or stockouts.
• Manage inventory push initiatives to align with sales and clearance strategies.
• Track inventory balance between stores, Digital (MFC) and hub to manage ISA.
• Optimize store-to-store stock transfers across the network to meet dynamic demand.
• Collaborate with retail teams to coordinate upcoming delivery volumes and ensure store readiness.
• Conduct regular store visits with the team.

What You'll Be Doing

The Allocator ensures the optimal distribution of inventory, maintaining product availability for retail, e-commerce, and B2B accounts. This role focuses on inventory planning, replenishment, and monitoring key performance indicators to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

• Define and execute the initial allocation strategy for seasonal products across stores, ensuring alignment with assortment and demand plans.
• Build and maintain inventory and replenishment plans, considering store space availability, delivery frequency, and stock requirements.
• Execute allocation strategies adapting stock parameters, safety stock, and days of coverage to optimize inventory levels and prevent overstock or stockouts.
• Manage inventory push initiatives to align with sales and clearance strategies according to markdown and promotional activities
• Track and initiate inventory balance between stores, MFC (Digital) and hub to manage ISA across all networks
• Optimize store-to-store stock transfers to balance inventory levels across the network and meet dynamic demand & ISA
• Collaborate with retail teams to coordinate upcoming delivery volumes and ensure operational readiness at the store level.
• Conduct regular store visit with the team

KPI Monitoring

• Track and analyze planning KPIs, including in stock availability (ISA), Days of Inventory (DOI) and On-Time In-Full (OTIF), to identify and resolve inefficiencies
• Track and analyze store to store transfers

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in supply planning or allocation, preferably within retail, fashion, or FMCG industries.
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in English
