Job summary

KBR is seeking a Valve Shop Technician II in Saudi Arabia to maintain rotating equipment, perform installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical systems to required standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance activities, supervising field personnel, ensuring permits, and providing technical guidance while adhering to safety and SAP data practices. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities are essential in a multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management in O&G facilities.
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
• Strategic management skills.

Responsibilities

• Allocate maintenance activities to Technicians and assemble the team.
• Supervise ongoing jobs and report progress to Foreman.
• Organize manpower, equipment, and materials availability.
• Arrange necessary work permits before starting work.
• Provide technical guidance to Technicians on tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Technical departments to execute the job.
• Ensure SAP data input and hours are maintained.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
