Job summary

KBR is seeking Valve Technician II to maintain rotating equipment and perform installation, maintenance and repair to the required standards in Oil & Gas facilities.

You will allocate maintenance activities, supervise crews, ensure safety compliance and coordinate with operations and maintenance planning, while keeping SAP time and hours records accurate. Prior leadership and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas facilities.
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Allocate maintenance activities to Technicians and assemble the team.
• Supervise ongoing jobs and update progress to Foreman.
• Organize manpower resources, equipment and materials availability.
• Arrange necessary work permits before starting work.
• Provide technical advice to Technicians to use proper tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Technical departments to execute and complete the job.
• Ensure SAP data input, history and actual hours are maintained.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
• Maintain compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.
• Ensure safe work practices and PPE usage according to SATORP standards.
• Encourage reporting of near-misses and unsafe conditions.
• Participate in Safety audits.
