Job summary

Kellogg Brown & Root (KBR) in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Valve Shop Technician II to maintain rotating equipment, perform installation, maintenance and repair to required standards. You will oversee maintenance activities, coordinate resources, and ensure safety and compliance with SATORP standards.

The role requires 2–4 years of Oil & Gas maintenance experience, strong technical understanding, and proven leadership in large organizations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities.
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
• Strategic management skills.
• An ability to achieve business results working in a multi-cultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Allocate maintenance activities to various Technicians and assemble the team.
• Supervise all ongoing jobs and update the progress to Foreman.
• Organize manpower resources, equipment's and materials availability.
• Arrange necessary work permits before starting of work.
• Provide technical advice to Technicians to use proper tools and equipment's.
• Co-ordinate with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Technical departments to execute and complete the job.
• Ensure that SAP data input, history and actual hours are maintained.
• Attend daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings.
• Maintain strict compliance with SATORP standards and guidelines.
• Ensure the compliance of safe work practices, hazardous work regulations and PPE usage according to SATORP standards.
• Encourage reporting of Near miss, unsafe conditions and acts.
• Participates in Safety audits.
• Attend the Safety and Technical training as scheduled.
