Job summary

MBRF is seeking a maintenance professional in Jeddah to operate and maintain boilers and utility systems, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, monitor water quality and chemical dosing, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires hands-on experience with boiler house equipment, electrical/mechanical systems, and SAP documentation, with strong attention to safety standards and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year technical/vocational qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in boiler house operation and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of boiler equipment, water treatment and pumps
• Ability to read engineering drawings, P&IDs and diagrams
• Familiarity with SAP, MS Office and 5S practices
• Based in Jeddah or willing to relocate to Jeddah

What will you be doing at MBRF?

• Operate, monitor and maintain boilers, thermal fluid heaters, air compressors and related utility systems to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation
• Perform preventive, corrective and scheduled maintenance on boiler house equipment, including pumps, valves, air dryers, softeners and water treatment systems
• Monitor operating parameters, boiler water quality and chemical dosing, and maintain accurate operational and maintenance records
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control-related issues, identify root causes and take corrective actions to minimize downtime
• Inspect equipment regularly, identify maintenance needs and support overhaul, preventive maintenance and spare‑part planning
• Record equipment issues, maintenance activities and work orders accurately in SAP and support continuous improvement activities
• Work closely with Maintenance, Production, suppliers and OEMs on technical issues, repairs and critical spare parts
• Ensure all activities comply with HSE, food safety, HACCP, GMP, 5S, Food Defense and company safety standards, including proper handling of chemicals, fuels, tools and PPE

What kind of profile are we looking for?

• Minimum 2-year technical/vocational qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in the operation and maintenance of boilers, air compressors or related utility systems, preferably within the Food/FMCG industry
• Strong practical knowledge of boiler house equipment, thermal fluid heaters, air compressors, pumps, valves, water treatment systems and boiler water quality
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems and read engineering drawings, P&IDs and relevant technical diagrams
• Knowledge of chemical and fuel handling, HSE and applicable technical standards; familiarity with SAP, MS Office, RCA, PDCA and 5S
• Familiarity with PLC, BMS, DCS, SCADA or HMI control systems is an advantage
• Business‑level English proficiency
• Based in Jeddah or willing to relocate to Jeddah, with flexibility to commute to the factory location
