Job summary

Wood is currently recruiting for a Technical Professional Engineer III (Electrical) to work in our office in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The role involves establishing designs and performance specifications and monitoring electrical installations across projects.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 6+ years of engineering experience, and strong knowledge of international codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years in similar role with construction/PMC.
• Strong knowledge of international codes, standards, procedures and specifications.
• Experience with standalone and portfolio projects desirable.

Responsibilities

• Witnessing contractors’ quality control inspections to ensure that the permanent works are constructed according to applicable codes, standards, and drawings.

• Drawings and specifications and any associated HSE standards and or requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering / Science or equivalent in ElectricalEngineering Discipline
• Minimum 6 years engineering experience required
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role with construction/ PMC
• Must have thorough knowledge of engineering practices, economic principles calculation methods, international codes, standards, procedures, and specifications
• With mix of experience on standalone and a portfolio project is desirable
