Job summary

Wood is seeking an ED IV/Senior Telecommunication Designer to join the Telecom & Security team in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The role involves developing Outside and Inside Plant drawings in line with Saudi Aramco standards and the company's quality controls.

You will create base design drawings and perform drafting checks, while coordinating with engineers and multi-national teams. The candidate should have a Diploma in Telecomms/Architecture Engineering, 10+ years in design engineering, and

Qualifications

• Diploma in Telecomms/Architecture Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years proven capability in an engineering design company.
• Experience with multinational and multicultural project teams preferred.
• 3D Max certification.
• Telecommunication and Security drawings in 3D (SP3D-Smart Plant) and AutoCAD, PDS or Revit.

Responsibilities

• Develop Telecom drawings e.g. Outside Plant and Inside Plant.
• Familiar with Saudi Aramco drafting standards and specifications and codes of practice
• Familiar with company quality control assurance requirements applicable to drafting function.
• Capable to create base design drawings from agreed work scope with minimal input from engineering personnel.
• Able to provide drafting checking function as directed by Engineer.
• Able to communicate clearly with engineering personnel.
• Able to contribute to group/discipline objectives applicable to drafting function.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Telecomms/Architecture Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years proven capability in an engineering design company
• Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred
