Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT engineering or equivalent.
• 6-8 Years of relevant experience.
• Very good knowledge of banking BT systems and applications.
• Very good knowledge of the banking operations and requirements.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Very good knowledge of programming languages operating systems relevant to the assigned business area, e.g. UNIX, SQL, Java, .NET, Visual Basic, Midas, Moody’s, etc.

Responsibilities

• Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Product Development function to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.
• Provides input for the development of departmental budget and monitors performance.
• Controls and plans the accurate and effective application implementation and its configuration to support operations.
• Monitors the efficiency and compatibility of applications in the assigned business area and coordinates maintenance and configuration.
• Prepares departmental reports and represents the function in committees and meetings.
• Ensures staff have clear objectives, performance feedback, and development plans, with emphasis on Saudi national staff development.

Job description

To control and guide the effective monitoring and management of the data centre(s) physical infrastructure and to handle the timely and accurate migration of batches so as to enable their utilization from all employees and support operation’s efficiency

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Implements approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and provides instructions to subordinates and monitors their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner

Day- to-day operations

• Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Product Development function to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures

Budget

• Provides input for the development of departmental budget and monitors performance against approved levels within own function, ensuring any variances are appropriately addressed

Testing Team

• Controls and plans the accurate and effective application implementation.
• Control and Monitor the development or modification of the applications, and ensure that this is aligned with the business requests and architecture design, so as to support the efficiency of the operations
• Controls the accurate and compatible configuration of the systems and applications defining the values of parameters and adjustments required, so as to enable their effective operation and cooperation
• Coordinates with vendors that are able to provide quality and cost effective services for the development of application that can’t be developed internally

Solutions Delivery

• Monitors the efficiency compatibility of the applications used in the assigned business area and proceeds to their maintenance and required configuration, so as to support the effective execution of business objectives
• Monitors the systems / applications malfunctions reported from the Services Center department and controls the resolution of the most complicated, so to assist the operational ability of the business
• Controls the development environments synchronization and code migration.
• Ensure the documentation of all interventions / developments to systems and applications, so as to support the effective knowledge management
• Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

Reporting

• Prepares departmental reports of Riyad Bank timely and accurately to meet the bank and department requirements, policies and standards
• Represents the function and actively contributes in various committees/meetings (internal and external) as applicable and per authority levels in order to ensure relevant matters are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner

People Management

• Ensures all staff have clear objectives, regular performance feedback sessions, formal annual appraisals, and individual development plans, with particular emphasis on the development of talented Saudi national staff
• Ensures and facilitates the employment, training and development of Saudi nationals within the organization

Safety, Quality & Environment

• Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
