Job summary

Confidential Government in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide first-line technical support to internal and external users.

You will diagnose hardware, operating systems and software issues, log incidents, assist with meeting room technologies, and ensure SLAs are met while following security policies. The role includes escalating unresolved issues, coordinating with vendors, and preparing devices for deployment and reuse.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Technology or related field.
• Experience in technical support and incident logging.
• Familiarity with hardware, software and operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support for internal and external customers.
• Logs incidents and service requests, updates ticket status to closure.
• Supports meeting rooms, video conferencing systems and devices; diagnoses faults.
• Delivers first-level support for hardware, OS, applications; resolves issues per procedures.
• Performs troubleshooting, tests connectivity, resets passwords, and documents actions.
• Escalates unresolved incidents with necessary information for resolution.
• Prepares user devices, installs OS/software, and tests readiness.
• Provides remote support following security policies and procedures.
• Monitors SLAs and priorities; escalates according to procedures.
• Verifies resolution and closes tickets after communicating with users.
• Coordinates with external providers and asset management for services.
• Reconfigures devices for reuse or handover and supports disposal procedures.
• Assigns telephony devices and numbers per procedures.
• Gathers user feedback to improve services and user experience.
• Applies cybersecurity policies and escalates security cases.
• Complies with organizational policies and work controls.
