Responsibilities include installing hardware/software, maintaining documentation, monitoring systems, and coordinating with vendors to ensure uptime and cybersecurity compliance in a demanding mining environment.

Qualificações

• Diploma/Degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years technical support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, and networking.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provides technical support to drilling and site personnel.
• Installs and configures hardware and software systems.
• Troubleshoots IT equipment, network, and system issues.
• Supports field data collection devices and systems.
• Maintains IT equipment inventory and asset tracking.
• Responds to user service requests promptly.
• Ensures systems are updated and properly maintained.
• Monitors network performance and connectivity.
• Assists in setup of site communication systems.
• Ensures cybersecurity measures are followed.
• Maintains documentation of IT systems and issues.
• Supports remote sites with connectivity solutions.
• Installs upgrades and patches as required.
• Provides user training on IT systems.
• Assists in backup and data recovery processes.
• Coordinates with vendors for technical support.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
• Maintains helpdesk records and issue logs.
• Supports continuous improvement of IT services.
• Performs other duties assigned by management.
