Job summary

Jobskey Consultancy in Riyadh is seeking a Technical Director to steer the organization's technical vision and strategy. You will lead cross-functional teams through the full project lifecycle, from concept through deployment and ongoing maintenance.

The role requires 20+ years in engineering roles with leadership experience, and a strong ability to recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performance team while aligning technical initiatives with business goals and client needs.

Qualifications

• 20+ years in engineering roles, with leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional engineering license (e.g., PE) and certifications such as PMP or Lean Six Sigma are beneficial.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools (Agile, Waterfall).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive technical strategy that aligns with business objectives.
• Identify emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and enhance product offerings.
• Lead a high-performing team of technical specialists, engineers, and project managers to execute the technical strategy.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure quality and reliability of deliverables.
• Develop and manage the technical team, including recruitment, training, and performance assessments.
• Serve as a key technical advisor to the executive leadership team, offering insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Represent the technical function in meetings with clients, partners, and industry organizations.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of the technical function.
• Develop the annual engineering budget based on project needs and forecasts.
