Job summary

Power International Holding (PIH) seeks a Procurement Supervisor to lead procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost effectiveness and timely delivery. You will work with internal stakeholders to craft procurement plans and optimize the supplier base to support organizational operations.

The role requires strong negotiation, analytical skills, and knowledge of procurement software including SAP.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to procurement.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and data-driven decision making with procurement data.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of local suppliers and supplier markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to meet organizational objectives and ensure efficient procurement processes.
• Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle from needs identification to supplier evaluation, contracting, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, forecast needs, and develop procurement plans.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends for informed decisions.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiate pricing and terms, and build long-term partnerships for reliable supply.
• Monitor compliance with policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards in procurement.
• Analyze procurement data, generate KPI reports, and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Train and mentor procurement staff and resolve issues or disputes related to procurement.
