Job summary

Naseej is seeking a legal professional to provide advisory support and ensure company-wide compliance. The role covers contracts, regulatory oversight, governance policy development, and liaison with authorities.

The candidate should have 2–4 years in legal/compliance, a law degree, GRC and IFSAH certifications, and strong English language skills (B2+). The position focuses on governance, risk management, and board support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in legal, compliance or governance roles.
• Must have GRC Certification and IFSAH Certificate.
• Proficiency in English (B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Draft and review contracts, agreements and legal memoranda.
• Provide legal advice to internal departments to support informed decision-making and mitigate legal risks.
• Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations and regulatory instructions.
• Develop and update governance and compliance policies and procedures.
• Monitor regulatory disclosures and announcements.
• Maintain compliance and legal risk registers.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and respond to inquiries.
• Manage legal cases with external counsel.
• Support Board and committee activities.
• Monitor conflicts of interest disclosures.
• Deliver compliance and governance training.
• Strengthen internal control and risk management frameworks.
• Prepare governance and compliance reports.
