Job summary

A Riyadh‑based state‑backed enterprise seeks an Investment Director to identify, evaluate and execute strategic opportunities, manage portfolio performance, and support long‑term objectives. You will interact with C‑suite executives, government partners, institutional investors and international co‑investors.

The role requires strong commercial judgement, deep financial expertise and leadership to drive value across the investment lifecycle and governance processes.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of investment experience in PE, IB, SWF, direct investments or investment holding groups.
• Proven track record executing complex transactions and evaluating opportunities.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring capabilities.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and investment committees.
• Exposure to state-backed enterprises or government-related entities is desirable.
• Solid understanding of the Saudi Arabian and GCC investment landscape.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business; MBA/CFA advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with long‑term objectives and national priorities.
• Identify and assess opportunities across relevant sectors.
• Build relationships with corporates, sponsors, sovereign and strategic partners.
• Lead the full investment lifecycle: modelling, valuation, due diligence, structuring, negotiations, completion.
• Monitor investments and identify value enhancements and returns.
• Present recommendations, analyses and proposals to senior management and committees.
• Collaborate with government entities, executives, investors, legal advisers and banks.
• Develop and mentor investment professionals while maintaining governance and execution standards.
