Job summary

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking a Curriculum Lead Instructional Development to guide the design and development of courseware for military training programs. The role focuses on building high-quality instructional materials, reporting performance metrics, and ensuring cost, quality, and schedule targets are met in collaboration with RSAF stakeholders.

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree, have a formal instructor qualification, and 4–6 years teaching experience, with 3–5

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree, preferably from an English-speaking university.
• A recognized formal instructor qualification.
• Experience as Instructional Development Specialist or Course Designer.
• IELTS 6.5 (Academic) or equivalent within last 2 years for non-native speakers.
• Sound knowledge of SAT or ISD; RSAF standards preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills; team player.
• 4–6 years teaching/instructional experience.
• 3–5 years as Training Designer, preferably in a military training environment.
• Experience with configuration management.
• Knowledge of quality assurance activities.
• Ability to establish and grow relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience developing, managing and delivering academic training in military settings.
• Knowledge of RSAF Training Regime and ISD.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance during building of new courseware.
• Support development, capture and reporting of performance metrics.
• Design and development activities to meet cost, quality and schedule targets.
• Engage and manage RSAF customer expectations regarding academic training.
• Guide the team during creation of courseware.
• Support performance metrics development and reporting.
• Ensure design and development activities meet targets for cost, quality and schedule.
• Engage RSAF to understand local expectations for training delivery.
