Job summary

The King Abdullah University of Science & Technology invites applications for an Event Coordinator to plan and execute divisional events, recruitment visits, conferences, and workshops. You will work with leadership, faculty, admins, and partners to ensure exceptional participant experiences and seamless logistics.

Responsibilities include end-to-end event management, on-site operations, visa coordination for visitors, vendor liaison, and budget tracking, with a focus on adherence to university

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Communications, or a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in event planning and logistics coordination.
• Experience in budget management and financial tracking for events.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute divisional events, visits, conferences, and workshops end-to-end.
• Develop event plans, timelines, and operational documentation.
• Manage on-site operations: registration, venue setup, catering, AV, transport.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and vendors.
• Support communications, invitations, branding, and promotional materials.
• Track budgets, invoices, and financial documentation.
• Collect metrics and prepare post-event reports for improvements.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
