Job summary

Shangri-La Jeddah is seeking a Storekeeper to manage receipt, storage, and distribution of hotel supplies, maintaining inventory accuracy and stock rotation across departments.

Responsibilities include receiving against PO, verifying items, maintaining records, applying FIFO/FEFO, issuing items, monitoring stock levels, counts, and coordinating with Purchasing, Receiving, and Cost Control in a luxury waterfront hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Excellent English communication, written and verbal.
• Experience as a Storekeeper or similar role, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Good understanding of Purchase Orders, delivery notes, requisitions, and inventory documentation.
• Good numerical and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently.

• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
• Store goods properly and apply FIFO/FEFO.

Job Summary

The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, controlling, and issuing hotel supplies and materials purchased through the Purchasing Department. The position ensures that all incoming goods are properly checked, recorded, stored, and distributed to the relevant hotel departments while maintaining accurate inventory levels and proper stock rotation.

As a Storekeeper, we rely on you to,

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience as a Storekeeper, Purchasing Storekeeper, Receiving Clerk, or similar role, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Good understanding of Purchase Orders, delivery notes, requisitions, and inventory documentation.
• Good numerical and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently.
