Job summary

Rosewood Red Sea seeks a Stewarding Team Leader to oversee daily stewarding operations across kitchens, restaurants, bars, and events in an ultra-luxury environment. You will supervise associates, ensure hygiene, HACCP compliance, and maintain equipment handling standards while supporting cost-effective operations.

Based in Saudi Arabia, the role requires leadership, training, and collaboration with Culinary, F&B, Engineering, and Housekeeping to maintain brand standards and flawless service

Responsibilities

• Maintain stewarding operations in line with Rosewood brand standards, Forbes standards, LQA requirements, HACCP, and local health regulations.
• Supervise daily stewarding operations across kitchens, restaurants, bars, banquet facilities, and back-of-house areas.
• Ensure all operating equipment, crockery, cutlery, glassware, cookware, and kitchen utensils are cleaned, sanitized, and stored according to hotel standards.
• Monitor dishwashing operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and hygiene standards are consistently achieved.
• Ensure all stewarding areas remain clean, organized, and operationally ready throughout all shifts.
• Conduct regular inspections of stewarding areas and report maintenance or hygiene concerns promptly.
• Ensure cleaning schedules and deep cleaning tasks are completed according to departmental standards.
• Supervise waste disposal, recycling, and refuse handling procedures.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of cleaning chemicals.
• Coordinate equipment distribution to restaurants, kitchens, bars, and meeting and events operations.
• Ensure sufficient operating equipment is available to support daily operations.
• Support banquet and special event setups and breakdowns as required.
• Monitor associate performance and provide guidance to ensure operational consistency.
• Support efficient use of departmental resources and operating equipment.
• Minimize breakage, loss, and unnecessary waste.
• Monitor chemical usage and report excessive consumption.
• Assist with inventory counts of operating equipment and stewarding supplies.
• Maintain proper storage and organization of stewarding inventory.
• Ensure responsible use of equipment and cleaning materials.
• Support cost control initiatives through efficient daily operations.
• Report equipment shortages or replacement requirements to the Stewarding Manager.
