Job summary

Lenovo is hiring for a Quality Lead to oversee manufacturing quality at the KSA factory in Saudi Arabia. You will drive NPI quality activities, lead cross-functional teams to mitigate risks, and ensure robust quality processes and controls across production.

The role emphasizes proactive problem-solving, data-driven decisions, and close collaboration with Development, Manufacturing Engineering and Site Operations to achieve best-in-class product quality and operational excellence.

• Ensure quality processes, inspection standards and controls are implemented across production operations.
• Monitor quality performance and drive continuous improvement for product quality and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Development, Manufacturing Engineering, MPM, SQE, Test Engineering and Site Ops teams.
• Identify and monitor factors impacting product quality and drive systematic corrective actions.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to prevent recurrence of issues.

Description and Requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead quality management during the server New Product Introduction (NPI) phase by proactively identifying quality risks and potential issues, and driving cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage manufacturing quality during the mass production phase by proactively identifying quality problems, conducting root cause analysis, and driving effective resolution to ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Responsible for on-site quality management at the KSA factory.
• Ensure quality processes, inspection standards, and manufacturing controls are effectively implemented and maintained across production operations.
• Monitor manufacturing quality performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational excellence.
• Partner closely with Development, Manufacturing Engineering, MPM, SQE, Test Engineering, and Site Operations teams.
• Ensure all factors that may impact product quality are effectively identified, controlled, and continuously monitored.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence through systematic corrective actions.
