Job summary

Lenovo in Riyadh is seeking an on-site IT applications support resource to ensure reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing and plant software. You will work with local and global teams to support production operations and drive AI-enabled solution adoption.

The role requires 2+ years supporting enterprise applications, knowledge of databases, ITIL, and experience with Jira Service Management or ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications in a business environment.
• Experience within manufacturing operations and/or end-to-end supply chain environments.
• English communication skills required (fluent).

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and improve enterprise applications across manufacturing, shopfloor, supply chain, and plant functions.
• Configure application functionality based on business and technical requirements.
• Monitor performance, investigate incidents, and drive root-cause resolution.
• Participate in deployments, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and security teams to ensure availability and performance.
• Provide Level 2 support for production environments and maintain documentation.

Join our manufacturing plant team in Riyadh as we transition from a startup environment into stable Business as Usual (BAU) operations. In this role, you will serve as a key on-site IT application support resource, helping ensure the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of business-critical manufacturing and plant applications. You will work closely with local and global teams to support production operations, resolve application issues, and contribute to operational transformation initiatives, including the adoption of AI-enabled solutions.

What You'll Do

• Support, maintain, and improve enterprise applications used across manufacturing, shopfloor, supply chain, and plant business functions.
• Configure application functionality based on business and technical requirements.
• Monitor application performance, investigate incidents, perform troubleshooting, and drive root cause resolution.
• Participate in application deployments, upgrades, patching activities, and lifecycle management initiatives.
• Contribute to operational transformation projects, including requirements analysis, testing, AI tool adoption, monitoring solutions, and application-related project coordination.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and security teams to ensure application availability, reliability, and performance.
• Provide Level 2 support for production environments while maintaining documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge articles.

What You'll Need

• 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications in a business environment.
• Experience within manufacturing operations and/or end-to-end supply chain environments.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, DB2, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and Agile ways of working.
• Experience using IT service management platforms such as BMC Remedy, Jira Service Management, or ServiceNow.
• Understanding of application security, access management, monitoring platforms, and application performance monitoring tools.
