Job summary
Parsons is seeking an Environmental Engineer in Riyadh to oversee environmental safeguards, verify CEMP compliance, and support documentation and field verification on construction sites.
The role involves daily site walkovers, monitoring air quality and noise, coordinating with subcontractors, and reporting environmental issues to the Environment Manager. Leadership in toolbox talks and meetings is expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental disciplines and 4+ years on construction projects.
- 4+ years of experience in a similar environmental engineering role on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Certified with LEED AP and ISO 14001 certifications.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the Client’s CEMP and monitor environmental safeguards on site.
- Assist the Senior Environment Manager with documentation and CEMP implementation.
- Conduct daily site walkovers and monitor air quality and noise conditions.
- Oversee on-site sampling, data review, and reporting of environmental issues.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure environmental requirements are met.
- Prepare minutes of meetings and conduct toolbox talks on CEMP requirements.
