Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Environmental Engineer in Riyadh to coordinate environmental interfaces with on-site Contractors and ensure construction activities comply with the CEMP. You will spend significant time on site observing conditions and guiding adherence to environmental safeguards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in an environmental field, 4+ years of construction/environmental experience, and LEED AP/ISO 14001 credentials.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in environmental-related field.
4+ years of environmental engineering on construction/infrastructure projects.
Certifications: LEED AP and ISO 14001.

Responsibilities

Verify compliance with Client's CEMP and approve environmental documentation.
Ensure environmental safeguards and management measures in the CEMP are implemented across the site.
Assist the Senior Environment Manager in preparing documentation and implementing the CEMP.
Conduct daily site walkovers to monitor air quality and noise conditions.
Oversee on-site sample collection and review results.
Report environmental issues and non-conformances to the Environment Manager.
Monitor workers’ performance (subcontractors) regarding environmental requirements and CEMP compliance.
Communicate environmental instructions from the CEMP or Environment Manager to staff on site.
Collaborate on data collection for Contractor’s monthly environmental reports and logs.
Report to the Parsons program Senior Environmental Manager.
Participate in meetings, document discussions, and issue minutes expediently.
Undertake toolbox talks and inductions to raise awareness of CEMP requirements.
