Job summary

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer – Compliance in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on governance, regulatory compliance, pollution prevention, and sustainable delivery across major infrastructure projects.

You will oversee impact assessments, monitoring programs, corrective actions, and contractor performance to protect ecosystems throughout the project lifecycle. Saudi environment regulations and NCEC knowledge are valuable assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive environmental engineering and compliance experience.
• Experience with Environmental Management Plans (EMP) and Construction EMPs is essential.
• Strong knowledge of environmental impact assessments, pollution prevention, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian environmental legislation and NCEC requirements.
• Experience with air, noise, soil, groundwater, wastewater and waste monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Review, implement, and monitor Environmental Management Plans and Construction EMPs.
• Verify environmental controls are integrated into construction method statements and contractor procedures.
• Conduct regular environmental inspections, audits, and compliance assessments.
• Monitor contractor adherence to environmental permits, commitments, and reporting obligations.
• Oversee air-quality monitoring, dust-control programs, noise and vibration monitoring, and emissions management.
• Prepare incident reports, root-cause analyses, and mitigation recommendations.
