Job summary

Jobtailor in Riyadh is seeking a logistics coordinator to ensure shipping preparations, coordinate with warehouse, and complete invoicing promptly.

You will update SAP and maintain shipping documents, schedules, and AWBs while liaising with internal teams to ensure contract compliance and timely shipments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BSc in Business Management or related field.
• Proficient in office applications and job-related software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping process prerequisites to ensure on-time shipments.
• Inform warehouse of daily shipments and coordinate actions.
• Complete paperwork and issue invoices promptly.
• Update SAP with shipping transactions to align functions.
• Document, file, and maintain shipping papers including AWBs.
• Track shipping schedules and status with carriers.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all required preparations for the shipping process are in place.
• Communicating with the warehouse function in order to inform them with the daily required shipments to take the necessary actions accordingly.
• Completing all paperwork and issuance of invoices in a timely manner to facilitate the shipping process.
• Updating the SAP System with the related Shipping function transactions in a daily manner to ensure alignment between the Shipping function and all JPI-concerned functions.
• Documenting, filing, and maintaining all shipping function papers and documents such as shipping companies’ schedules, invoices, Air Way Bills (AWB’s) and shipping orders.
• Following up with shipping companies on shipping schedules and status.

Requirements

• Diploma degree in any relevant discipline or BSc degree in Business Management / Computer or any relevant discipline.
• Performs moderately difficult tasks using job-related applications, Office applications, and other relevant programs.
• Tracks regular communication with other contract parties and acts thoroughly to monitor contract compliance.
• Able to read and write fluently and accurately in all styles and forms of the language on any subject as well as those pertinent to professional needs.
• Communicates effectively with all organizational levels; in written and orally, also detects and discerns underlying meanings.
• Consistently practices constructive critical thinking as opposed to following procedures blindly, in attempt to enhance and improve work.
