Job summary

Tamimi Commercial is seeking an Inventory Clerk to manage stock levels, verify incoming materials, and issue items to departments using SAP. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and collaboration across procurement and operations.

The candidate will help maintain organized storage, perform regular stock counts, and ensure documentation is complete and up-to-date in SAP and related systems.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; training in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
  • Experience in warehouse operations and inventory control.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Receive incoming materials, verify quantities and specifications against PO and delivery notes, report discrepancies.
  • Organize and store materials to ensure easy identification and preservation.
  • Process material requests and issue items to authorized departments with proper documentation and system updates (SAP).
  • Maintain records of receipts, issues, transfers, returns and inventory adjustments in SAP and related systems.
  • Perform physical stock counts, cycle counts and reconciliations; investigate discrepancies.
  • Keep warehouse clean, organized, and properly labeled to ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain and verify warehouse documents such as POs, delivery notes and goods receipts.
  • Follow warehouse safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Maintenance and other departments to ensure timely material availability and delivery.

Job description

Inventory Management

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock

Receiving amp Inspection

Receive incoming materials verify quantities and specifications against purchase orders delivery notes and related documents and report any discrepancies

Material Storage

Organize and store materials systematically to ensure easy identification accessibility and proper preservation

Material Issuing

Process material requests and issue items to authorized departments while ensuring accurate documentation and system updates SAP

SAP amp Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of receipts issues transfers returns and inventory adjustments using SAP and other relevant systems

Stock Control amp Audits

Perform regular physical stock counts cycle counts and inventory reconciliations investigating and resolving discrepancies

Warehouse Organization

Maintain a clean organized and efficient warehouse environment and ensure proper labeling and identification of materials

Documentation

Maintain and verify warehouse documents including purchase orders delivery notes material requests goods receipt documents and inventory records

Safety amp Compliance

Follow warehouse safety procedures company policies and applicable regulations to maintain a safe working environment

Coordination

Coordinate with Procurement Operations Maintenance and other departments to ensure timely availability and delivery of required materials

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification or training in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or Material Management is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, store keeping, inventory control, or material management.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office , particularly Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock counting, receiving, and issuing procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Commitment to safety, accuracy, and company procedures.
