Job summary

Sisco Jobs is seeking a Shift Charge Engineer for a demanding role in Saudi Arabia, overseeing continuous operation of steam and gas turbines, conventional power plants, and desalination utilities. You will lead shift teams in control-room and field environments, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency across plant systems.

The position requires strong operational leadership, familiarity with PTW/LOTO, and the ability to coordinate with maintenance and safety procedures in a high-stakes

Qualifications

• Power plant operations: continuous operation and monitoring of conventional generating stations.
• Steam turbine operations: startup/shutdown, protection, and troubleshooting.
• Gas turbine operations: auxiliaries, control systems, alarms, trips, and procedures.
• Shift operations & control: supervise plant operating activities across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and control shift operations of steam turbine, gas turbine, conventional power plant and utilities.
• Monitor plant parameters and take corrective actions for safe, stable, and efficient operation.
• Coordinate start-up, shutdown, synchronization, load changes, and changeovers.
• Supervise field operators and control-room personnel during shifts.
• Coordinate with maintenance for isolation, permits, troubleshooting, and restoration.
• Monitor desalination and water-treatment systems where applicable.
• Respond to alarms, trips, and emergencies per operating procedures.
• Maintain shift logs, handover reports, and production data.
