Job summary

Jenwa in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of a combined cycle power plant. You will lead the shift team, ensure safety practices, and maintain reliability while meeting PPA terms and environmental standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, coordinating with maintenance and support, documenting performance, and driving continuous improvement across plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical).
• 8 years of power plant operations experience, incl. 2+ years in supervisory roles; Siemens GT-based CCGT preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PPA terms, regulatory compliance, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the combined cycle power plant.
• Lead shift team, enforce safety practices and procedures.
• Ensure PPA compliance, availability, and reporting.
• Monitor KPIs via plant control systems and respond to alarms.
• Coordinate with maintenance and support teams.
• Prepare detailed shift reports on performance and deviations.
• Coordinate emergency response and troubleshooting.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and training.
• Maintain records and regulatory compliance documentation.
