Job summary

Jenwa is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate gas and steam turbines, HRSGs, and associated systems within a power plant. You will follow established safety procedures and monitor performance, reporting deviations to the control room.

Responsibilities include start-up/shutdown, routine maintenance, and accurate documentation. Strong teamwork and communication are essential to ensure safe, reliable plant operations in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma/degree preferred.
• Experience in power plant operations and gas turbine environments.
• Knowledge of Siemens gas turbines and combined cycle operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor gas turbines, HRSGs, STs and auxiliary systems per procedures and safety rules.
• Inspect equipment regularly to ensure integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with Control Room team and report anomalies promptly.
• Assist start-up and shutdown of plant systems following established protocols.
• Support Permit to Work, isolations, and safety drills as required.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and inspections to sustain efficiency.
• Maintain accurate operation records and logs for analysis and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency through routine reviews.
