Job summary

Jenwa invites applications for a CCR Operator role in our power plants. You will monitor and control combined-cycle plants, operate DCS, coordinate with LDC, record performance data, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and support shift operations including nights and weekends.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical discipline, 5+ years total experience with at least 3+ years as CCR Operator in O&M of CCGT plants, and English proficiency (Arabic helpful).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical discipline is required.
• Total 5+ years of professional experience; 3+ years as CCR Operator in O&M of CCGT plants.
• Siemens GT-based CCGT experience is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of combined cycle power generation and regulatory/PPAs.
• Proficient English; Arabic knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control power generation systems, including gas/steam turbines and HRSG.
• Coordinate dispatch instructions from LDC and adjust generation levels per demand.
• Record operational data and prepare performance reports for compliance.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in audits, drills, and PTW prep.
• Troubleshoot operational issues with engineering and field staff.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure reliability.
