Job summary

Halliburton is seeking a Service Specialist III- Managed Pressure Drilling in Al-Khobar to lead and execute rigging, equipment setup, testing, and operation at customer sites and field camps. You will mentor junior staff, monitor well data, and ensure safety and quality in every procedure.

Candidates should have 9+ years in oil field drilling, including 5+ years in MPD/underbalanced drilling, with strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with customers and PSLs on complex well

• Meets minimum competency requirements for Senior Service Specialist III-GBA.

Job Duties

Under general supervision, the successful candidate will:

• Supervises, directs, and performs all phases of the rigging up and down of service line equipment on work locations both on and offshore.
• Provides the planning necessary for the job including equipment set up, well site direction, and customer related support activities.
• Responsible for the activities relative to maintaining, setting up, testing, and operating equipment at the customer location and field camp.
• Mentors and trains lower level Service Operators and Operator Assistants in areas of expertise.
• Monitors instruments and performs necessary calculations to ensure quality of data at the well.
• Consults with customers concerning services and products, promotes good customer relations at the well site, and ensures customer satisfaction with results.
• Properly maintains equipment and completes all job documentation.
• Conducts pre-job toolbox safety meetings, reviews and verifies job plan with customer representative, and manages any changes required.
• Must be able to review information received from Business Development to confirm best practices are followed and that proposed job plans meet customer's expectations in the most efficient manner.
• Must be able to communicate with other PSLs and third parties to ensure tool and well site activity compatibility.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

Good mathematical acumen is required. Good reading comprehension and writing skills are required. Skills acquired through completion of high school diploma and 9+ years experience in oil field drilling activities including 5+ years of underblanaced drilling and/or managed pressure drilling. Must have met the minimum competency requirements for Svc Spec III-GBA.
