Job summary

Halliburton is seeking a seasoned GeoBalance Applications operations professional to oversee field and base camp activities. The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and customer satisfaction, with responsibility for coordinating tool deployment and well-site direction.

The candidate should bring 9+ years in oilfield drilling, including 6+ years in underbalanced or managed pressure drilling, plus strong communication skills and the ability to mentor junior staff in diverse teams at client sites

Qualifications

• 9+ years oil field drilling experience including 6+ years in underbalanced / managed pressure drilling.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to mentor staff.

Responsibilities

Job Duties

Under broad direction, coordinates and oversees GeoBalance Applications operations at the well site and base camp. Provides the planning necessary for the job including personnel, equipment set up, well site direction and customer related support. Must be able to communicate with other PSLs and third parties to ensure tool and well site activity capability. Excellent leadership and communication skills required. Mentors and trains lower level personnel in areas of expertise. Interacts with customers and supervises the activities of completion of services and/or shop personnel to exceed customer requirements. Job emphasis is on personnel development, operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Contacts customer for performance follow-up and to plan future work. Skills are acquired through completion of a high school diploma and 9+ years experience in oil field drilling activities including 6+ years of underbalanced drilling and/or managed pressure drilling.
