Job summary

Hill International (Middle East) Ltd. is seeking a Project Engineer to deliver water-related projects, applying your technical and project management expertise to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality outcomes.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, develop plans, monitor progress, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, maintain health and safety on site, and contribute to process improvements across projects, with occasional travel to site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on water-related projects.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in the water sector.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of water treatment processes, water distribution systems, and related engineering principles.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets and monitor progress against these plans.
• Coordinate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including engineers, designers and contractors.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Prepare and review project documentation including reports, specifications and contract documents.
• Manage and mitigate project risks and develop effective strategies to address any challenges.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders and team members providing regular updates on project progress.
• Ensure health and safety protocols are followed on all project sites and promote a culture of safety.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of project processes.
