Job summary

Hill International in Jeddah seeks a Project Engineer focused on Saudization to plan, coordinate, and oversee multiple project functions ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. You will provide technical guidance and coordinate across design, construction, procurement, and maintenance teams.

The role requires maintaining documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental policies across regional and site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience with major government and/or semi-government programs and projects implementations.
• Extensive experience in project management of water and wastewater works.
• Experience of working with government entities/utility providers.
• Experience of working internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop a detailed project plan that includes timelines, budgets, resources and risk assessments.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team members.
• Coordinate with design, manufacturing, construction and maintenance teams to meet project goals.
• Ensure the projects adhere to quality standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications and change orders.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors and vendors.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and problems that arise during the project.
• Coordinate and communicate project group as needed on major projects in the Region.
• Monitor engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedule.
• Prepare the engineering budget, project schedules and project control budgets.

Job Description

The Project Engineer (Cluster) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing multiple project functions to ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. This includes developing detailed project plans, providing technical guidance, coordinating across design, construction, procurement, and maintenance teams, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. The role also involves monitoring progress, managing budgets and schedules, resolving technical issues, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders. Additionally, it supports construction activities, tracks engineering performance, and ensures alignment across regional and site teams while adhering to organizational quality, safety, and environmental policies.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with various teams, including design, manufacturing, construction, and maintenance teams, to ensure project goals are met.

Ensureaccurateandtimelyreportingstandardsaremaintainedthroughouttheproject(s).

CoordinateandcommunicateprojectsgroupasneededonmajorprojectsintheRegion.

Coordinatewithregionalandsitemanagementonstatus,significanttrendsandchangesofapproved projects.

Monitor engineeringprogressagainstbudgetand forecasted schedule.

Preparingtheengineeringbudget,projectschedulesand project controlbudgets.

Maintaineffectiveandon-goingcommunicationswithconstructionandcontractormanagement teams. Coordinating engineering activities with other departments.

Providingtechnical adviceandsupporttootherdepartments.

Informsthemselves of the relevantQuality,Environmental, Safety andOccupational HealthPolicies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree inengineeringfromanaccredited university.
