Job summary

Hill International, Inc. seeks a Senior Design Engineer to lead and manage water and wastewater treatment plant projects, including pumping stations and desalination facilities, for regional infrastructure programs.

The role requires coordinating with design consultants and the project team to deliver designs on schedule. You will review technical plans, perform analyses, specify methods, and ensure compliance with Hill’s QHSE policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience after graduation.
• Minimum of 10 years of design experience related to water and wastewater projects.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater master plan.
• Ability to review and approve design related to water and wastewater works.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage design of Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants, pumping stations, and desalination plant design.
• Support Project Manager in delivering design per program.
• Support team of design engineers/consultants.
• Coordinate and monitor design consultant activities and report progress.
• Plan and organize review of deliverables with SMEs and design review teams.
• Perform analysis on design plans.
• Review analysis findings for technical and business reports.
• Set up green initiatives in design processes.
• Specify analytical methods to support decision-making.
• Provide quality assessment reports to Project Management and client.
• Assist Contracts and Construction teams in pre- and post-contract activities.
• Ensure compliance with Hill International QHSE policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
