Job summary

WSP in Riyadh is seeking a Principal - Transport Planning & Mobility to lead a team of transport planners and mobility designers, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for the Riyadh region.

You will oversee the full project lifecycle from concept to final delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget completion and high-quality outcomes while maintaining strong client relationships with government authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 12 years' experience in transport planning, mobility design, and project management.
• Proven leadership and ability to mentor a diverse team.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and transport modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, design, and implementation of transport projects.
• Conduct transport studies and analyses for informed decision-making.
• Build relationships with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.
• Prepare proposals and presentations for clients highlighting benefits.
• Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for delivery.
• Stay updated on advancements in transport planning and mobility design.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental standards throughout projects.
• Provide technical guidance to the team on complex planning issues.
• Represent WSP at industry events and conferences.
