Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant traffic engineering or transportation infrastructure experience.
- Demonstrated experience preparing traffic engineering design plans for highways, junctions, and transportation projects.
- Strong background in traffic management design and planning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review traffic signal, junction, temporary traffic works, and associated traffic engineering designs.
- Prepare traffic engineering plans covering signals, signing, road markings, intersection concepts, and ITS infrastructure.
- Define technical scopes for traffic engineering assignments and contribute to schedules, budgets, resource requirements, and delivery planning.
- Monitor tasks against milestones and flag issues impacting delivery.
- Conduct traffic studies using standard methodologies and modeling practices.
- Translate study results into practical recommendations for highway and intersection improvements.
