Qualifications
- Saudi National with a Civil Engineering degree and at least 10 years of highway/ITS experience.
- Experience with giga-projects or smart-city mobility preferred.
- Experience with traffic signal control, CCTV, Variable Message Signs, traffic detectors, telemetry, and smart traffic technologies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operational performance across highways, urban roads, intersections, and transit corridors.
- Monitor live traffic conditions using ITS tools, CCTV, sensors, and data feeds.
- Analyze speeds, volumes, journey times, and congestion to identify constraints.
- Review signal performance and optimize timing to reduce congestion.
- Coordinate incident response with Traffic Management Centers and emergency services.
- Develop traffic measures for planned and unplanned disruptions while preserving access.
