Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Testing & Commissioning Engineer to manage testing, commissioning, and handover for major high‑rise and large‑scale building developments in Saudi Arabia. The role covers pre‑commissioning through final handover with strict adherence to project specs and international standards.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years in testing & commissioning of building systems, 5+ years on major high‑rise projects, and Saudi/GCC experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Building Services or related discipline required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Professional registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers preferred.
• CCP/ACG/BCxP or equivalent certification highly desirable.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
• LEED AP or sustainability certification beneficial.
• 10–15 years in Testing & Commissioning of building systems.
• 5+ years on major high‑rise and large‑scale developments.
• Saudi Arabia/GCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage testing and commissioning across all building systems from pre‑commissioning through handover.
• Review and approve testing/commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Review contractor submissions, test reports, and startup procedures.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, international standards, and authority requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and suppliers during commissioning.
• Develop and monitor commissioning schedules aligned with milestones.
• Witness FAT, SAT, IST, and performance testing.
• Identify commissioning risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor contractor performance and readiness for commissioning.
• Review testing results, balancing reports, and performance validation records.
• Conduct integrated systems testing for proper intersystem interactions.
• Support functional performance testing and operational readiness assessments.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals for occupancy/handover.
• Deficiency tracking and timely closure of issues.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and participate in reviews.
