Job summary
GE Vernova is seeking a Technical Application Engineer to drive business development in the GA Market across MENAT, supporting L2 technical queries and coordinating with sales, engineering, and services in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and surrounding regions.
The role covers product launches, market monitoring, and regional promotional activities, with the expectation of up to 60% travel and strong English communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- 8+ years in commissioning of protection products and Grid Automation projects, with site experience.
- Experience with Protection & Automation products (UR, SR, 8 Series, MiCOM) and knowledge of competitors.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% and fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Technical Marketing and opportunities based on installed base and market data.
- LU2 Application Support: provide technical support to clients in the region, develop customized solutions.
- Promotions, product launches, spec-in activities, exhibitions, site trials.
- Lead investigations and resolution of product problems; support actions for major issues.
- Assist Tendering and contract negotiations; monitor market and competitors.
- Provide customer support and literature needs; track firmware upgrades.
