Job summary

Lucidya is building a scalable, AI-powered CXM platform in the MENA region. We seek a senior engineer to own distributed systems, high-throughput pipelines, and reliability at scale.

You will design event-driven microservices, optimize PostgreSQL/Elasticsearch, and lead observability with Grafana/Loki while collaborating with cross-functional teams to move fast with quality.

Experience with Rails or Python backends is valued; candidates should own problems end-to-end and ship reliable systems.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in distributed systems and fault tolerance.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures in production.
• Deep understanding of concurrency, backpressure, and scalability.
• Experience with Rails or Python backends at scale.
• Track record debugging complex production issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate high-throughput pipelines across 100+ microservices.
• Build and scale distributed messaging with RabbitMQ.
• Develop API gateway layers with multi-upstream routing.
• Architect SSO and identity federation for enterprise clients.
• Define service boundaries across ingestion, processing, delivery with Ruby and Python.
• Drive platform evolution through Kubernetes migration and CI/CD improvements.
