Qualifications

• Strong foundation in distributed systems and failure modes.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures in production.
• Deep understanding of concurrency, backpressure, and fault tolerance.
• Experience building Rails or Python backends at meaningful scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate high-throughput pipelines in a 100+ microservice ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain API gateways and service boundaries.
• Lead reliability efforts with observability and incident response.
