Job summary

House of Consulting Office for Consulting Engineers Co. (HCO) in Saudi Arabia seeks a senior Structural Engineer to lead the Water Storage Tanks - Hub 6 & 8 Project in AlUla, delivering robust, code-compliant structural solutions.

You will supervise construction activities, review drawings and calculations, ensure QA/QC and HSE compliance, and coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical teams to integrate all disciplines and support project closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Strong experience in water storage tanks, reinforced concrete structures, and infrastructure projects.
• Previous PMC/consultancy experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of structural drawings, calculations, construction methods, and applicable codes and standards.
• Experience in concrete works, waterproofing, inspections, and structural quality control.
• Excellent communication, technical coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise structural construction activities related to water storage tanks and associated structures.
• Review structural design drawings, shop drawings, calculations, material submittals, and method statements.
• Monitor reinforced concrete works, foundations, tank structures, structural elements, and associated civil works.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and quality standards.
• Review reinforcement, formwork, concrete works, waterproofing, and structural testing requirements.
• Coordinate structural works with civil, mechanical, electrical, and utility disciplines.
• Review WIRs, MIRs, RFIs, NCRs, and other technical documentation.
• Identify structural issues and provide technical recommendations and solutions.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements.
• Support testing, inspections, project closeout, and final handover.
