Job summary

Wood is seeking a TPE IV/Senior Structural Engineer for our Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia team. The role focuses on onshore structural design for oil & gas projects, with oversight of deliverables, site verifications, and coordination across disciplines.

You will lead a team, supervise juniors, and ensure compliance with Aramco, Sabic, Royal Commission, SBC and HCIS standards, while supporting project delivery within allocated man-hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in the oil and gas industry with an established contractor, operator, or consultancy.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in onshore structural engineering and design.
• Experience in FEED and EPC project execution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and engineering software.
• Familiar with AutoCAD / MicroStation drawing editing and reading.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural/infrastructure works, including various building types and foundations.
• Originate and revise engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Supervise junior engineers and coordinate with project team and PM.
• Perform site visits, verify conditions, and record as-built drawings.
• Ensure deliverables pass quality checks and manage records.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations; liaise with vendors and subcontractors.
