Job summary

Assystem in الخبر, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Lead Structural Engineer to shepherd the structural discipline on key projects. This on-site, full-time role focuses on technical leadership, design delivery, and project coordination across stages.

You will mentor engineers, ensure Saudi code compliance, BIM integration, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, robust structures.

Qualifications

• Essential Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized university.
• 12–15 years of relevant structural engineering design experience.
• Strong experience in structural design of buildings and infrastructure.
• Demonstrable experience leading structural engineering teams.
• Experience with Saudi Arabian projects is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural engineering discipline across assigned projects.
• Coordinate structural design with architectural, MEP, civil, and geotechnical teams.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code and regulatory requirements.
• Lead technical reviews, design checks, and authority submissions.
• Mentor engineers and support recruitment and competency development.
• Coordinate BIM processes and clash-detection reviews.
