Job summary

Career Land Center, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Sous Chef for an F&B company in Kuwait. The role supports senior kitchen leadership, supervises daily production, maintains quality, and guides the culinary team during busy operations.

You will ensure dishes meet standards, lead junior chefs, manage costs, hygiene, HACCP, and collaborate with service, purchasing and management to ensure smooth operations. Relocation to Kuwait is required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a senior kitchen team in high-volume F&B environments.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, production, and standards.
• Proven ability to manage costs, inventory, and wastage.
• Excellent leadership and training abilities.
• Willingness to relocate to Kuwait.
• Experience in international hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
• Supervise food preparation, mise en place, cooking, plating, and service readiness.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to company standards, recipes, and quality expectations.
• Lead and guide chefs and kitchen team members during daily operations and busy service periods.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, consistency, presentation, and timing.
• Support menu execution, new dish implementation, seasonal specials, and recipe standardization.
• Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, cleanliness, and HACCP standards at all times.
• Monitor stock levels, food rotation, wastage, storage, and kitchen organization.
• Assist with ordering, inventory control, and cost-conscious kitchen practices.
• Train, coach, and motivate junior chefs to improve performance and consistency.
• Conduct shift briefings and ensure clear communication within the kitchen team.
• Coordinate closely with service, stewarding, purchasing, and management teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Step in to lead the kitchen section or assigned outlet in the absence of senior culinary leadership.
• Support continuous improvement in kitchen efficiency, quality, and team productivity.
